What You're Paying For

Most balloon decorators charge for balloons. At Alina Balloon, I price full installations — design, sourcing, studio preparation, fabrication when needed, delivery, on-site setup, styling, and breakdown. Across 400+ completed installations, the quote covers the full scope. No separate delivery fee, no setup fee, no surprise line items.

When a project calls for more than balloons — CNC-cut signage, dimensional panels, acrylic elements, or marquee numbers — those pieces are designed and built in my studio, not rented. That work is included in the proposal, not added later as a surprise. A 50% deposit secures the date, with the balance due before the event. Pricing Ranges

Typical investment ranges, not preset packages. Based on installation scope, complexity, and venue conditions.

Single installation One garland, arch, column, or backdrop
$850 – $1,200
Most event projects Focal piece + accents or signage — where most clients land
$1,200 – $3,500
Full event styling Multiple zones, full fabrication, venue-wide design
$3,500+

How It Varies by Event

The ranges above apply across all events. Here's what typically goes into each category.

Birthdays

The widest range. A first-birthday garland at home is a single-element project. A quinceañera typically includes an entrance arch, head table backdrop, dance floor accents, and custom number features — a completely different scope.

Baby Showers

Usually includes a focal backdrop or garland with name signage, plus a secondary accent piece. Most showers are mid-range projects. Larger multi-zone setups with entrance features run higher.

Weddings

Typically the highest-investment category. Most projects include a ceremony arch, reception backdrop, or both — plus vendor coordination and venue-specific engineering. Full venue styling across multiple zones is the top tier.

Gender Reveals

Includes sealed preparation of the reveal element — balloon pop or box. A single styled backdrop with reveal starts at the entry level. Full party setups with multiple installations and photo areas scale up from there.

Corporate Events

Grand openings, launches, branded activations. Typically includes branded fabrication — logo cutouts, color-matched structural elements. Multi-location rollouts and complex branded pieces are quoted individually.

Engagements · Graduations · Bridal Showers

Follow the standard ranges. Proposal setups are priced to reflect timing precision and coordination. Graduations peak May–June — book early. Bridal showers often coordinate with the wedding palette for a cohesive look across both events.

Pricing by Installation Type

Each installation format has its own pricing range based on size, complexity, and custom elements.

Balloon Garlands — from $850

Flowing installations along tables, walls, staircases, and tent edges. Pricing scales with length and density — a 6-foot dessert table garland is a different scope than a 20-foot wall-to-wall installation. Learn more in our garland pricing guide.

Balloon Arches — from $850

Freestanding, wall-mounted, or half arches for entrances, ceremonies, and photo zones. Price depends on height, style, and whether custom elements like signage or marquee letters are integrated. See our detailed arch pricing breakdown.

Balloon Backdrops — from $850

Full wall backdrops, photo walls, and stage pieces. Backdrops often include custom signage, dimensional panels, and layered elements — all built in-house. Larger backdrops with layered elements and fabrication are quoted individually. See how long balloon decorations last by installation type.

Balloon Columns — from $350

Individual columns start at $350 and are typically added as accent pieces to larger installations — flanking entrances, marking walkways, or anchoring stage corners. Columns are most commonly paired with arches or backdrops as part of a full event setup.

What Moves the Price Up or Down

Number of focal areas — one installation versus multiple zones across the venue.

Scale — a 6-foot dessert table garland versus a 20-foot full-wall installation with layered elements.

Fabrication — projects with CNC-cut signage, dimensional panels, or marquee pieces are priced higher than balloon-only installations.

Venue — ceiling height, outdoor exposure, load-in timing, and wall surfaces all affect engineering and setup time.

Schedulerush orders or restricted install windows can affect the quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does balloon decor cost in Los Angeles?

Custom balloon installations in Los Angeles start from $850. Most event projects fall between $1,200 and $3,500. Full event styling starts from $3,500. Every project is quoted individually based on installation size, design complexity, and venue conditions. For a detailed breakdown, see our complete LA pricing guide.

What's included in the price?

Every quote includes design, all materials, delivery to the venue, on-site installation, styling, and post-event breakdown. Custom fabricated elements like CNC-cut signage, dimensional panels, and marquee numbers are included when the design calls for them. No hidden fees.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A 50% deposit secures the date. The remaining balance is due before the event. The deposit can be applied to a rescheduled date if plans change.

Why is there an $850 minimum — and can I adjust the scope?

Every installation involves design, material sourcing, studio preparation, delivery, on-site setup, and breakdown. The $850 minimum reflects the full scope of service, not just the cost of balloons. The scope can scale down while the quality stays the same — a single garland or arch at $850 still gets the same design, materials, and setup. See how DIY compares to professional balloon decor. Read more about whether professional balloon decor is worth the investment.

How far in advance should I book?

Most clients reach out 2–4 weeks before their event. For weekends and peak seasons like graduation season in May–June, booking 3–6 weeks ahead is recommended.

How do I get a quote?

Send the event date, venue or area, occasion type, and any reference photos. We usually reply within one business day with a clear proposal outlining the scope and price. Learn what to expect when hiring a balloon decorator, or see how to request a custom quote.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Northridge, and surrounding areas across Los Angeles County.

What types of events do you work with?
Can you create custom designs for my specific venue?

Every project is designed individually for your venue, layout, and event concept. We also produce custom wood backdrops and 3D decor elements in-house for a fully custom event experience.

Do you do outdoor installations?

Yes, I work with both indoor and outdoor venues. Outdoor setups use additional anchoring and weather-appropriate materials to ensure the installation holds throughout your event.

Balloon Installation Pricing Across Los Angeles

Balloon decor pricing in Los Angeles depends on the type of event, the scale of the installation, and where it takes place. A baby shower garland at a home in Sherman Oaks is a different scope than a wedding ceremony arch at an estate in Beverly Hills or a branded activation in Glendale.

Every Alina Balloon installation is designed for the specific venue and occasion. The cost reflects the full service: concept design, material selection, in-house fabrication of signage and structural elements, delivery, on-site setup, and teardown. That's why pricing starts at $850 and scales with the project — rather than being sold by the balloon or by the foot.
